WayUp.my is the official Malaysia’s Productivity Portal that provides information and online services from resources such as the Government, Businesses, Research Institutes, Industries Associations and NGOs. This portal has been developed to promote and share initiatives undertaken under the Malaysia Productivity Blueprint (MPB). It aims to provide a single window access to the information and services on productivity for Malaysia’s Businesses and Rakyat.

  • Retail & Food and Beverages

    The retail industry in Malaysia has experienced rapid transformation and expansion in recent decades due to consumers’ changing lifestyles and increased disposable income.


  • Electrical & Electronics

    The Electrical & Electronics (E&E) industry is a major subsector of the manufacturing sector, which has grown by leaps and bounds since 1972. The subsector is divided into two main industries; namely, computer, electronic, and optical products, and electrical equipment.


  • Chemicals & Chemical Products

    This sector encompasses a vast array of products, from agrochemicals, industrial gases, inorganic chemicals, organic chemicals, paints, soaps and detergents, cosmetics, and toiletries as well as other chemical products. 


  • Construction and Built Environment

    Under the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (12MP), productivity of the construction sector is expected to grow at an average rate of 3.8% per annum to RM46,200 supported by the increased adoption of modern construction technology and methods. In return, this will contribute 4.2% to the construction sector output growth.


  • Logistics

    Logistics sector is expected to contribute 6.5 per cent to the national GDP by the year 2030.
